About me

Hey! I'm Carla. I grew up in Sheffield and studied Animation at Leeds Arts University, and somehow managed to bring my ever-growing collection of house plants along for the journey. I love all things animation and illustration, but there’s more to it than the masterpieces you see out in the world.

As a Lead Animator, I’m deeply involved in every step of the creative process, from storyboarding, character design, animation tests, rigging, and a bit of project management. There's so much that happens behind the scenes to make an animation come to life. But hey, I won’t make you read through all the details. Take a deeper dive into my portfolio to see it for yourself.

Away from the computer screen, I spend my time trying to convince bugs not to eat my house plants, crocheting blankets that are too small to be called a blanket, and catering to the many demands of my furry companion, Bilbo, who is deceptively smart for a dog who walks face first into wheely bins.
